Burlington UFO - Bad Site

I want to believe...but maybe not that bad.

I am a huge proponent of a good conspiracy theory and I truly believe that there is NO WAY that the life on this beautiful blue ball we call Earth, is the only life that exists in the whole universe. So, as far as subject matter goes...yeah, this all checks out. The Burlington UFO and Paranormal Reseach and Educational Center based out of Winslow, Illinois has dedicated itself to investigating UFOs along with their pilots and several other hard to explain things.

I do not feel the need to hold off on the fact that I believe that this is just bad design and well...everything.  So...Let's do this.

Starting with very nebulous and dated looking photos, whom we are forced to assume are the authors of the page, but it is never explicitly stated.
There is no rhyme or reason to the links that are in various sections of the above photo.  I wonder if there is a color-coding system at work here.  As there are all kinds of different color texts, some of which are links, some are not.

I would be completely remiss if I neglected to mention the strangely highlighted red box quote that seems to be completely independent of any other section at the top right. It reminds me of an Arrowsmith patch that all the ultra-cool retro-hipster sew on to the back pocket of a pair of jeans, to hide a growing tear.

The more we scroll down the page we see even more clutter.  Clutter that is full of weird alien gifs that flash and move.

Granted there are tons of sites that are full of strange and silly content out there and this seems to be one of them...So we just have to uncomfortably acknowledge that there are two separate references to Nazi and Hitler here, join me in scratching our heads in confusion and move along.

There are a ton of articles and links to other sites and books for sale by all sorts of authors.  There appears to be no shortage of room for additional links here. Notice though at the very bottom there is a small link to navigate to the next page. Incidentally, the next page looks exactly like the top of the first page complete with the same nebulous photos. Seems like a waste of a web page. However, there is an audio advertisement that plays. There is just enough of a delay after arriving on this second page for reader to be completely startled.   On the plus side though, the ad does not loop.

I am pretty sure that the authors of this site are really trying to sell books but that message is lost in the patchwork appearance of all of additional supporting evidence.
