How does the news work exactly?

The Haitian News Network provides news and information to the citizens of Haiti. While I was unable to confirm this, but apparently HNN closely partners with the local News TV station. 

The HNN suffers from a couple of issues that keep it from being Bad Ass.  It appears as though everything is button operated.  

All of the buttons work which is great! Having multiple buttons that take the user to the same place is not so great. Two Facebook buttons, right next to each other does not make me want to visit their Facebook page twice as much.

The twitter feed does seem pretty current, as does some of the information that is coming through on the random text blocks.  I am not entirely sure where all of that information is coming from.

There are multiple links that lead to other news sites or radio stations across the world.
